Cinnamon Raisin Granola
This cinnamon raisin granola is easy to make and can easily be made vegan and gluten free. If you love oatmeal raisin cookies, then you’ll absolutely love this granola!
Ever since I made my first granola recipe for the blog I’ve been thinking of other ideas for different flavor variations. The thought of a cinnamon raisin granola was the first that came to mind. This granola is full of healthy ingredients and doesn’t contain any pesky preservatives that are in many store bought granolas. Making granola at home is much easier than you think, just five minutes of mixing ingredients together and then the oven does the rest of the work. Easy enough, right?
I also put a decent amount of cinnamon in this recipe too because I wanted the cinnamon to really shine in this granola. If you really love cinnamon, you can feel free to increase the amount a little more. Granola is so versatile, you can easily add any extra ingredients into the mix like sliced almonds, chopped nuts, chocolate covered raisins maybe? Definitely trying the chocolate covered raisins out next time I make this granola, because it will be made again very soon!
This granola is great topped on some yogurt, mixed in with a smoothie, or with just some milk. You can make this granola vegan by omitting the egg white, but I prefer to use one because it helps the granola cluster a little better. Also, if you’re wanting to make this gluten free just be sure to use gluten free oats.
If you’re a fan of oatmeal raisin cookies, I guarantee you will love this granola recipe. The maple syrup helps to lightly sweeten the granola and the combination of cinnamon and raisins is insanely good! This granola will also keep for a couple of weeks on the counter, so you can make a big batch and enjoy it throughout the week. The best part? You probably have most, if not all of the ingredients to make this granola right now!
Cinnamon Raisin Granola

- Spread the granola evenly on the baking sheet and bake for 30 minutes, lightly stirring about halfway through.
- Remove from oven and allow granola to cool completely, then add the raisins.
- Store in an airtight container on the counter for up to two weeks.

It’s hard not to keep grabbing it by the handful, trust me! Thanks for the compliment too, Sarah!
Hi! I love making things that just taste good and are somewhat healthy! The granola is cooking and it smells soooo good! I’m so excited! Super easy to make!
This granola looks delicious, Danielle! I am all about cinnamon, I usually double it in all of my recipes, so this sounds right up my alley. And I love thinking of new granola creations, too. It’s so fun to come up with new flavors, and this one is perfect!
Thanks, Gayle. I’m a cinnamon lover too, I add it to anything I can!
Such perfect timing that you posted this, because I’ve recently “rediscovered” my love of raisin bran. I just love those sweet raisins in there, can’t get enough. So I just know I will love this cinnamon raisin granola. This, with some greek yogurt and honey sounds like the best breakfast ever!
I used to love Raisin Bran back in the day. I love the idea of eating this with greek yogurt and honey, I’ll have to try that!
I am a huge granola fan! I make a batch every Sunday, but I have never tried a cinnamon raisin variety. I know what kind I will be making next week! 🙂
I can never get enough of your amazing recipes, Danielle! I love how this one requires minimum ingredients. 🙂
Thanks so much Jessie, you’re too sweet!

Oatmeal raisin cookies are my favourite kind of cookies! Playing around with flavour combos in granola is so much fun -the possibilities are endless!
They really are, that’s one reason I love granola so much!
I’m loving this granola! I am crazy for cinnamon. I added it into anything that I can. I bet this would be great with some yogurt and fresh fruit 😀
Cinnamon really is the best and it definitely is good with some yogurt and fruit, Cindy!
Granola is a favorite, but cinnamon? Yes, please! This would be my go to breakfast… or even a snack! Looks great!
Thanks so much Pamela 🙂
Cinnamon totally should shine – it’s so good! I love this recipe, so pretty too!
Thanks so much Dorothy!
I really need to start making my own granola! It sounds so easy and looks much better than the boring breakfasts that I usually eat. Cinnamon raisin is also one of my favorite breakfast flavor combos, so I know I would love this!
I love making granola, you should definitely give it a try!
Looks great! Going to give it a try. Just one question, why the egg white? This is the first granola recipe I’ve seen that asks for an egg white? Seems odd. Could I just leave it out?
The eggs white helps create clusters of granola, but you can leave it out if you want.
We don’t eat maple syrup can I use honey instead?
That would be fine, Deb.
