There are currently disruptions on the roads around Westbourne as fire crews tackle a building blaze.
As fire crews from the Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Services tackle the blaze, the roads have been closed.

Westbourne Fire Route Closures
Poole Road is currently closed due to the fire.
The road is closed in both directions between Queens Road and the B3066 (St Michaels Roundabout).
Congestion is also building up around the area as a result of the fire.
Drivers and the public are urged to avoid the area.

Several bus services have been diverted due to the closures.

Westbourne fire: what we know so far
A spokesperson for the fire department said: ‘We were called at 7.12am for a rooftop fire on a building on Poole Road, Bournemouth.
“We have teams present from Westbourne, Springbourne, Redhill Park, Christchurch (x2), Poole (x3), Ferndown, Ringwood, Wimborne, New Milton and Burley, as well as the Westbourne aerial ladder platform and an aircraft Hamworthy Support Center – about 60 firefighters.

“Residents are moved to a place of safety. ”
A spokesperson for Dorset Police added: “We received a report at 7.19am from the fire department of a property fire in Poole Road, Bournemouth. Officers have attended the scene to help put in place road closures and evacuate the premises.
“They are staying on the scene and we have no further update at this time.”
