True Storage Jacksonville intends to redevelop a former charter school site at 4751 Walgreen Road into a temperature-controlled, split-level storage facility.

The city is considering a permit application for Contractor Construction LLC of Manchester, New Hampshire, to remodel two buildings totaling a proposed 65,298 square feet at an estimated construction cost of $1.5 million.

The TrueStorage.com site indicates that the project is coming soon.

True Storage, a national self-storage developer based in Manchester, says on the site that it produces premium Class A storage through conversions and new builds.

“Through partnerships with national self-storage companies, the facilities are managed and operated, meeting customer and community expectations for quality and service,” he said.
