Proposed by Town of Lacey

On Monday August 16, Town of Lacey will begin construction of a major road on Carpenter Road, between 26th Court SE and just north of the new Carpenter / Mullen Road roundabout. The work will take place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on weekdays and should last until the end of October. Travelers can sometimes expect delays during these works. Alternative routes are recommended.

Provisional timetable: Most of this work is weather dependent and subject to change. Watch for updates on the City’s website and on Facebook and Twitter accounts. Interested parties can also sign up to receive project email updates at ci.lacey.wa.us/ProjectUpdates.

Monday August 16 to Friday August 20: 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Contractors will prepare the project area for grinding and paving. Travelers can expect delays and should allow extra time when traveling in this area. Alternative routes are recommended.

Monday 23 August – Friday 10 September: 7 a.m. – 7 p.m. days of the week

The contractors will rectify and repav the pavement. Travelers can expect delays and should allow extra time when traveling in this area. Alternative routes are recommended.

Monday September 13 – end of October: 7 a.m. – 7 p.m. days of the week

Contractors will perform road repairs and minor paving on adjacent streets. Travelers can expect delays and should allow extra time when traveling in this area. Alternative routes are recommended.
