A road widening project is underway and another is expected to start later this year on Gosling Road.

Gosling Road Bridge

Gosling Road will be extended to four lanes between Creekside Forest Drive and Gatewood Reserve Lane, including the Spring Creek Bridge. The contract was awarded to NBG Constructors Inc. on July 20. The project will hand over to the Harris County Engineering Department on Aug. 25 to set a date to proceed with the 429-day contract following a pre-construction meeting, according to Commissioner Jack. Cagle Infrastructure Division.

Chronology: fall-end 2022

Cost: $ 8.2 million (Montgomery County Precinct 3 contributing $ 4 million)

Funding sources : City of Harris County 4, City of Montgomery County 3

Widening of section 3 of the Gosling road

Improvements planned by Harris County 4 include the widening of Gosling Road between West Rayford Road and Creekside Forest Drive as a four-lane concrete boulevard section. The project started its work in June.

Chronology: June 14-summer 2022

Cost: $ 6.8 million
