BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) – Here is the Deschutes County road construction update for the week of November 28 through December 31. 4.

  • Rickard Road: Improvement of Groff Rd to US 20 (Bend Area) – The removal of the pavement strips and the installation of a pavement legend will take place. Traffic Information – Rickard Road is open to traffic from September 30. Active construction will continue on Rickard Road between Gosney Road and US 20. Road users should expect lane closures facilitated by flaggers and delays of up to 20 minutes during working hours. . . Working hours are from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays).

The Deschutes County Roads Department and our contractors make the health and safety of the public and our workers our top priority as we continue to serve our community. We are taking steps to ensure that all state and federal mandated best management practices to eliminate the spread of COVID-19 are applied at our project sites.

Please assist us in these efforts by using alternate routes where possible and maintaining an appropriate physical distance when you absolutely must walk, ride, or drive at our project sites.
