Patna: A number of cases have been reported across the country, while another case has come to light in Bihar in which vigilance raided the home of an engineer from Bihar’s road construction department. During the raid, investment papers and eight bank accounts as well as Rs 14 lakh, half a kg of gold and 1 kg of silver were seized.

In a raid carried out under the supervision of Vigilance DSP SK Maur on Tuesday, the disproportionate goods were recovered from the apartment of Nityanand Apartment in Patna of engineer Kontay Kumar stationed in the construction division of Gulzarbagh Road. The engineer would have two more apartments in the Krishna apartment on Boring Road. The searches were carried out under the supervision of Vigilance DSP SK Maur.

On the other hand, a case of cheating of the eldest son of Lalu Prasad Yadav and provincial deputy Tej Pratap Yadav of the RJD party has been revealed. The fraud was committed by none other than a man working in Tej Pratap’s company. It is alleged that the man fraudulently demanded 71,000 rupees from his account. A complaint was filed against the person by Tej Pratap Yadav at the SK Puri police station and immediate action has been requested.
