Written by The Top 5 Best decades of Music is one of the easier top five lists I have made. I have taken into account all styles of music and music sales and trends and everything to do with music in general. The top 5 best decades of music are.
1. 1970′s – By far the best decade ever for music. The bands,the super groups,Disco,the birth of Rap , The Jacksons Five,The Eagles,Kiss, so many huge groups were at the top of their careers.
2. 1950′s – Rock and Roll takes off and hasn’t looked back since. Doo Wop,Bee Bop,Soul Music,RnB the decade that changed music forever.
3. 1960′s – Dominated by Rock and Roll and Motown
4. 1980′s – Pop Music and Rap Music and Rock Music and Country music and Punk Music fight it out.
5. 1990′s - Nothing special about this decade.

There have been great things about every decade on this list, but I think the 90′s definitely had some talented musicians. How about Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Rage Against the Machine, 2Pac, Korn, Dave Matthews Band, Stone Temple Pilots, Pantera, TLC, Boyz 2 Men, Jay-Z, Lauryn Hill, Dr. Dre, Alice in Chains, Tool, Busta Rhymes, Eminem, Marilyn Manson??…not to mention some of the stuff Metallica and Guns N’ Roses were doing at the time…..the list just goes on and on and on and on…I don’t necessarily like all the artists or music I mentioned, but all of them did something different and special and were extremely successful.
