This banana bread recipe is infused with cinnamon two ways: in the batter itself, as well as the ribbon of cinnamon sugar running throughout the loaf. The cinnamon sugar swirl takes just a few extra moments to prepare, but it never fails to impress when revealed within the finished loaf!

What Is Focaccia Bread? 

Focaccia is a type of Italian flat bread that’s enriched with olive oil and leavened with yeast. It can be flavored with fresh herbs, flaky salt, sun-dried tomatoes, and so much more. 

In this recipe for focaccia bread, I kept things simple by just topping it with flaky sea salt and fresh rosemary. The bread itself is incredibly flavorful thanks to the olive oil and bit of honey in the dough. 

Although focaccia bread is easy to make at home, the dough requires some babysitting. In today’s post, I’ve outlined my preferred method for making focaccia in addition to all of my tips for baking success!

Monkey bread is a pull-apart bread that’s coated in a gooey caramel sauce. Instead of using canned biscuits, I made the monkey bread dough completely from scratch! 

Monkey bread is gloriously sticky, ooey gooey, and meant to be eaten with your hands.

Many recipes use canned biscuits as a shortcut when making pull-apart monkey bread, but I prefer making the dough completely from scratch. It’s a simple yet flavorful enriched dough that’s made with butter, whole milk, an egg, and a little sugar. 

The dough is rolled into small balls and coated with cinnamon sugar before being piled into a bundt pan, coated in caramel sauce, and baked.

Making monkey bread from scratch requires a little extra prep work, but this is an easy recipe to follow. You can even prep it ahead of time for a delicious breakfast in the morning!

One of my favorite side dishes growing up would hands-down have to be cornbread. Between the golden brown crispy edges and the soft and fluffy interior, there’s something so irresistible about it. A few weeks ago I decided to ditch the store-bought mixes and work on a homemade cornbread recipe.

Not just any cornbread though, I wanted to create one with those beautiful crisp edges and one that was sweet, but not too sweet. This simple homemade cornbread checks all of those boxes and it’s incredibly easy to throw together too. In fact, this recipe uses simple ingredients and you probably have on hand right now.

Bonus – If you want to bake this cornbread into muffins or bake it in a cast iron skillet, I’ve included instructions for how to do that too!
